As The GUIDE App prepares to attend the 2026 FFCA Safety & Health Conference, we are excited to share another way we’ll support the fire service community at this year’s event.

In addition to attending the conference, The GUIDE App is proud to sponsor the FFCA Board Dinner on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

The dinner will take place at BR77 Brazilian Steakhouse, bringing together members of the Florida Fire Chiefs’ Association leadership community for an evening of conversation, connection, and relationship-building ahead of the conference.

For The GUIDE App, sponsoring this dinner is about more than supporting an event.

It is another opportunity to invest in the people and leaders who are working every day to strengthen the fire service, support their departments, and advocate for the health and wellness of first responders.

Supporting the People Who Lead the Fire Service

Leadership within the fire service comes with tremendous responsibility.

Fire chiefs and department leaders are not only responsible for operations, staffing, training, equipment, and public safety. They are also increasingly asked to consider the long-term health and well-being of the people in their departments.

That includes conversations around mental wellness, occupational stress, physical health, cancer prevention, sleep, nutrition, peer support, resilience, and creating cultures where first responders feel comfortable accessing resources when they need them.

Those conversations are a major reason The GUIDE App is looking forward to being part of this year’s FFCA Safety & Health Conference.

The people making decisions at the department level play an important role in shaping how wellness resources are introduced, communicated, and supported.

By sponsoring the Board Dinner, we are proud to support an opportunity for those leaders to connect with one another outside of the formal conference setting.

Creating Space for Conversation

Some of the most meaningful conversations at conferences do not always happen during presentations or educational sessions.

They happen around a table.

They happen when leaders have time to exchange ideas, share what their departments are experiencing, discuss challenges, and learn from others who understand the realities of the profession.

Events like the FFCA Board Dinner provide an opportunity to strengthen those relationships.

The GUIDE App believes that improving first responder wellness requires collaboration.

Departments may face similar challenges, but the resources, cultures, staffing needs, and communities they serve can look very different. Creating opportunities for leaders to exchange perspectives can help move the broader conversation around firefighter health and wellness forward.

We are honored to help support that opportunity.

Continuing the Conversation at the Conference

Our involvement with FFCA will continue beyond the Board Dinner.

The GUIDE App will also have an exhibitor table in the General Session room on October 18 and October 19, allowing conference attendees to connect directly with our team.

We look forward to meeting fire chiefs, department leaders, firefighters, wellness coordinators, peer support professionals, EMS personnel, and others working to improve health and wellness within the fire service.

At our exhibitor table, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about The GUIDE App, ask questions, and explore how our platform can complement the wellness resources already available within their organizations.

Unable to make it to the conference? You can still learn more about The GUIDE App and how we support first responder wellness. Schedule a personalized demo with our team to explore the platform, ask questions, and see how GUIDE can fit the unique needs of your department or organization.

Making Wellness More Accessible

The GUIDE App was designed to give first responders another way to engage with wellness resources.

Our platform provides a private and anonymous environment where individuals can explore information, reflect on different areas of their wellness, and access resources on their own terms.

For some people, asking for help or talking to another person is the first step.

For others, the first step may simply be taking a few minutes to check in with themselves.

Both can be valuable.

Our goal is not to replace the resources departments already have in place. It is to provide another accessible option that can complement peer support programs, employee assistance resources, clinicians, wellness teams, chaplains, leadership initiatives, and other forms of support.

The more options first responders have, the more opportunities there are to make wellness part of everyday life rather than something addressed only during a crisis.

Looking Forward to Connecting With FFCA

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the FFCA Board Dinner and participate in the 2026 Safety & Health Conference.

These events create opportunities for the fire service to learn, connect, share ideas, and continue important conversations about the future of firefighter health and wellness.

We are proud to contribute to those conversations and to support the leaders helping move them forward.

Meet The GUIDE App at the Conference

The GUIDE App will also have an exhibitor table in the General Session room on October 18 and October 19, during the FFCA Safety & Health Conference.

If you are attending, stop by and meet our team, learn more about the platform, and talk with us about the wellness needs you are seeing within your department.

We look forward to connecting with you in Florida.

Because supporting first responders also means supporting the leaders, departments, and communities working to create healthier environments for them every day.
